“Eaves : A Refreshing Take on Interior Photography”

I was recently approached by a new company called Eaves here in South Somerset whose Estate Agencies brand offers a refreshing approach to interior photography for homes.

Rather than the typical brief for property photography—which often requires every inch of a room to be shown—Eaves prefers a more “editorial” look for their listing images. This approach calls for slightly shorter lenses, creating a subtly compressed perspective, which aligns perfectly with my own preferences. It also means we focus on capturing a room’s key features, rather than the entire space.

Post-production is also a crucial part of the brand’s style. I keep the colours true to the property’s ambience, opting for a more subdued saturation and smoother tonality—much like my years of shooting film.
