Gulet BoatYard

I captured this image back in June while making my regular trip to the Aegean coast of Turkey.
The beautiful Gulet boats are a common sight in this part of the world and for me are iconic with Turkey.
I have shot a fair number of Gulets over the years but mainly sailing or moored up, on this trip I decided to explore a local boatyard at dawn which is located on the beach in Gumbet nr Bodrum.
I had passed this location several times over the years and always planned to do some photography here and on this trip I spotted this beautiful Gulet propped up having repairs undertaken.
I decided to return to the yard at dawn the following day to capture the boat and the yard in the stunning Aegean dawn light.
