Swan Feather Ham Wall Somerset
It was late summer and I was walking over the Somerset Levels at Ham Wall nature reserve with my camera in hand.
I had no plan as to what if anything I was going to shoot until I came across several swan feathers on the ground close to the water’s edge.
I captured a few frames of them in situ before noticing a rustic piece of metal with a beautiful patina laying close by.
This provided the perfect color and textured background to contrast with the delicate structure of the ivory white feather.
